The FAXCOM Fax Server is the central component of Biscom’s document delivery solutions, enabling document delivery for users, applications and processes within your enterprise, as well as from your enterprise to the world.
The FAXCOM Server is a Windows or Linux-based application that works with intelligent fax boards from Brooktrout to send and receive fax and email messages. Users can fax through Biscom’s FAXCOM Client or Web Client applications, or via email. The FAXCOM Server can also connect to business applications such as FileNet, Documentum and Siebel; ERP applications such as SAP and Oracle; and many other applications running on iSeries, Mainframe and UNIX systems. FAXCOM Server also supports numerous APIs, making it easy for custom applications and processes to send, receive and track fax and email communications.

How can you use FAXCOM Server to automate document delivery?
- Send and receive faxes via email faxes, including Exchange, SMTP, Domino and GroupWise.
- Enable desktop faxing through Biscom’s workflow-optimized FAXCOM Client or through our browser-based Web Client.
- Integrate with Directory Services such as Active Directory and NDS. Use Application Programming Interface’s (APIs) so that applications and processes can send and receive faxes. Interface to the FAXCOM Server via COM, Java and SMTP, among other options.
- Fax IBM iSeries spool files or IBM Mainframe print output.
- Send faxes from an MFP device.
- Integrate with business applications such as FileNet and Siebel, and ERP applications such as SAP and Oracle.
